Free mental health support for parents, family caregivers, and young caregivers across Alberta. Because the people doing the caring deserve care too. Includes one-on-one counselling, peer support circles, parental burnout workshops, and respite navigation.
Who It Is For
Parents experiencing parenting stress, burnout, or anxiety. Family caregivers supporting elderly parents or partners with illness. Young caregivers aged 16–25 balancing school, work, and caregiving. Parents of children with mental health challenges or special needs.
Topics Addressed
Format
One-on-one counselling (max 8 sessions/year) + monthly peer circles + 2-hour community workshops + respite navigation.

Location
Calgary, Alberta in-person + virtual for caregivers who cannot leave home
How to Access
Self-referral: call, WhatsApp, or email. Partner referral: family doctors, school counsellors, settlement agencies.
Most programs focus on the person receiving care. This program focuses on the person doing the caring — who is often completely forgotten.
